Lesley Anne Ulrich
Photographer
&
Jewelry Designer
Lesley A Ulrich is the new proud owner of the Photo Dog Art Gallery. Although she has worked for the previous owner, Jill Warburton since 1999, Jill is still very much involved by showing her artwork at the gallery.
Lesley holds a BFA from the University of Hartford, Art School. She produces photographs in all formats. She uses a 4x5 view camera, 35 mm film and digital as well. She also works with experimental processing, including non-silver alternative processes. Lesley does all of her own processing in and out of the darkroom. Her work consists of Block Island images such as sunsets, landscapes, seascapes, nature, flowers of Block Island, family portraits, and wedding photography. Her latest work is a series of abstract photographs of old Block Island Buoys.
Jewelry Design is also an art that Lesley has been working away at. She sells her one of a kind jewelry at the Photo Dog.
Lesley spent her early years in Orange, CT. Block Island has been a part of her life since she was a small child. She has lived on the island since 1999. She spends the Spring, Summer, and Fall on the island but heads north to Vermont for the winter.
She spends her time doing family portraits in the late afternoon on the beach as well shooting weddings all summer long. For more information about Lesley Ulrich, stop by the Photo Dog Art Gallery, located under the National Hotel.
